Las Vegas Bachelorette Party Guide 2017: Everything You Need to Know

Do it all in Las Vegas on a fun bachelorette weekend!

The Hangover certainly convinced us that Las Vegas can be a wild destination for bachelor parties, but we think the city is equally—or perhaps even better—equipped to host brides and their girls on a bachelorette weekend. Vegas has bachelorette staples like over-the-top nightlife and an unmatched party atmosphere, but Sin City’s also teeming with other lowkey bachelorette favorites like excellent brunch spots, spas, and even a number of sights to see beyond the iconic Las Vegas Strip.

If you’re planning a Vegas bachelorette soiree for your newly-engaged bestie, we’ve got you covered with a selection of the city’s finest hotels, hottest nightlife hubs, tastiest restaurants, and best daytime activities. Check them out below as you start building your ultimate Las Vegas bachelorette itinerary.

Where to stay

The famous water fountain show in front of the Bellagio

Bellagio – Bellagio is probably the most famous luxury hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, and its reputation is definitely well earned. With opulent touches like thousands of glass flowers in the lobby, its own eight-acre lake, and of course, the famous Fountains of Bellagio, this utterly massive hotel brings high-end Italian charm to the streets of Vegas. Bellagio literally has it all on the premises, including casinos, its own Cirque de Soleil show, five pools, more than fifteen restaurants, and tons of nightlife options for a true Las Vegas experience.

ARIA ARIA is another spectacular option for the bride who loves touches of luxury. Located right in the city center, ARIA stands out thanks to the sleek look of its two glass and steel towers. In addition to its large casino space, the hotel has a theater, 16 restaurants, 10 clubs and bars, and a spacious pool area. ARIA also takes its commitment to sustainability seriously with tons of high-tech features in its rooms. Things like switches to regulate temperature, curtains, and other amenities are what make it the largest LEED Gold-certified hotel in the world.

Palazzo Nevada’s tallest building, the Palazzo hotel towers above everyone else along the Vegas Strip in beautiful Italian Renaissance style. All the rooms here are suites and offer significantly more space than you can find elsewhere downtown. Upgrades like concierge service complete the pampered experience, as do unique add-ons such as gondola rides along the Grand Canal and access to designer shops and private themed pools.

Mandarin Located in the heart of the Strip, Mandarin Oriental offers Eastern flair in a palatial setting. On the premises, this five-star hotel has several of its own restaurants, including the oh-so-posh Tea Lounge, as well as a luxe pool and a two-floor day spa. The best of Vegas is easy to access from here; particularly close is the Crystals dining and entertainment district, which is only a short walk away across the Mandarin’s sky bridge.

Where to eat

Enjoy a live performance with dinner at this "modern supper club", Rose. Rabbit. Lie.

Lakeside As the name suggests, Lakeside, a restaurant within the Wynn Las Vegas luxury hotel, sits along the banks of the Lake of Dreams, a photo op-worthy setting complete with light shows and an impressive water wall. In keeping with this backdrop, Lakeside specializes in seafood, with fresh fish dishes spanning a number of different cuisines and styles. This restaurant has an entire page of delicious vegetarian options, plus particularly extensive offerings of both wine and desserts (a bachelorette’s dream!).

Rose. Rabbit. Lie. – Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is much more than just a restaurant; this self-identified “modern supper club” replicates the social club experience enjoyed by upper crusters of the past, with high-end American cuisine combined with a rotating schedule of live performances. This is the place to be to sip on a cocktail and enjoy dishes like Oysters Rockefeller and Beef Wellington while being entertained by live singers, tap dancers, and other unique performers.

TAO Asian Bistro – If you and your girls are looking to enjoy a great Asian-style meal made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, TAO is the place to go. This restaurant specializes in Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine, and its menu covers a wide range of well-known dishes sure to please everyone in your group. The atmosphere here matches its theme, with the décor including a 20-foot-high Buddha statue and an infinity pool full of koi. Another advantage of TAO is its lounge, where you can order the same exquisite dishes in a more casual atmosphere.

LAVO – LAVO brings a little taste of Old World Italy to the fast-paced Vegas Strip. Its menu features classics like chicken parmagiano and penne alla vodka, all in a venue with some of the best views in the city. If you come here in the evening, you can head right upstairs to LAVO’s casino lounge to start the night off right. Or, enjoy LAVO’s delicious brunch service after a long night of club-hopping in the city.

Where to party

It's hard to beat the "out of this world" view at Moon

Tao Nightclub – As you may have guessed, it’s no coincidence that Tao nightclub shares a name with the TAO Asian Bistro mentioned above. The Tao entertainment complex, which includes both of these venues, plus a banquet area and ultra lounge, is the perfect spot for transitioning from dinner to partying. The Tao nightclub is a New York-style dance club with an outlandish luxe vibe. In addition to a large main dance space, the club also has a number of VIP and private areas known to be popular with Hollywood celebs.

Moon – Moon is another Vegas hotspot that sits way up high on the 53rd floor of the Palms hotel. This club has an outer space theme, and at such a high altitude, it really feels like you’re out in the great beyond, especially when the retractable roof opens on clear nights. Moon provides everything you need to dance and drink the night away, plus wonderful views of the city from its floor-to-ceiling windows.

XS Nightclub – XS Nightclub is the height of glamour, oozing luxury and sophistication in a complex that includes a huge dance floor, several bars, and an outdoor pool area with private cabanas. This gorgeous space is equipped to handle large crowds, and the XS dance floor definitely gets lively. If your bride is really looking to go wild, she can try out one of the 15 poles spread across the venue. Or for a more chill experience, take the dancing outside to the open-air patio and pool area.

Where to spend the day

Lay back and enjoy a variety of treatments at Aquae Sulis Spa

Las Vegas Neon Museum – When you think of Las Vegas, “museum town” probably isn’t the first idea that comes to mind. But the Las Vegas Neon Museum is worth visiting to glimpse some of the iconic neon signs that give the city its unique look. The museum’s so-called Neon Boneyard is a treasure trove of restored and unrestored Vegas neon signs from both past and present. Take the guided tour during the day or at night, and be sure to take pictures, as the setting here is the perfect backdrop for one-of-a-kind group shots!

Flamingo Wildlife Habitat – A visit to the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is a great opportunity to meet some exotic animals right on the Strip. Located in the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel, this exhibit, a 15-acre territory of lush tropical gardens and waterfalls, is open 24 hours a day. Still, the best time to go is during feedings, as you’ll have the chance to get up close with and learn about the flamingoes, as well as other animals such as ducks, turtles, hummingbirds, and koi, who also live here.

Aquae Sulis Spa – No bachelorette getaway is complete without a little pampering, and the Aquae Sulis Spa at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa is the ideal spot for a day of R&R. The facilities here are incredibly extensive and include a coed outdoor space with pools and steam rooms, plus indoor ritual rooms divided by gender. Regular treatments such as massages and facials are available, or your group can buy a day pass to enjoy the group areas (and even take a free yoga class together!).

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area – For a reprieve from the bright lights and city hustle of Las Vegas, try a hike or scenic drive around Red Rock Canyon. Located only 18 miles from the Strip, this natural reservation is much more accessible than the Grand Canyon, but still presents gorgeous views of typical Nevada desert and canyons. A trip here is a convenient way to take a short break from the urban jungle and get out into the fresh air.

Las Vegas has a reputation as a place to party, and for bachelorettes, it definitely lives up to the hype. The city delivers in terms of luxury, glamour, and fun, with chances to relax by the pool and dance the night away at every turn along the Strip and beyond. No matter what vision your bride has for her last hurrah as a single lady, a Las Vegas bachelorette getaway is sure to be a time she never forgets.
